In this section, students will write a longer composition in English. The composition should be between 250 and 350 words. Students should organize their work into several paragraphs including an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
Students should present their ideas clearly and creatively. They should use correct grammar, appropriate vocabulary, and proper punctuation. The aim of this composition is to assess the student’s ability to develop ideas, structure a piece of writing, and communicate effectively in English.
Possible topics may include The Importance of Education, A Memorable Holiday, How We Can Protect the Environment, The Day My School Won a Competition, or Technology in Students’ Lives.
The composition will be marked out of 40 marks. Marks will be awarded for content and creativity, organization of ideas, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation.
